Teenage mental health questions can be answered using the resources available on this site. Being a teenager is not only tough physically, but mentally as well. A lot of things can happen, and you may not always know where to turn. These sites give teenagers resources for mental health concerns, emotional trauma, grief, and other support systems. Consult your doctor with specific questions.
General Mental Health Resources for Teens
Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services Board of Cuyahoga County
The ADAMHS Board can connect you to many local providers of mental health, counseling, substance abuse and wellness services, for children, teens, and adults (view the Provider Directory).
They also offer a 24-hour mental health crisis, information and referral hotline for teens and adults at (216) 623-6888.
Positive Education Program (PEP)
PEP is the mental health gatekeeper for the local ADAMHS Board and for the Service Coordination process
with the Family & Children First Council.
Teen Mental Health
Helps improve the mental health of youth by the effective translation and transfer of scientific knowledge. Uses the best scientific evidence available to develop application-ready training programs, publications, tools and teenage mental health resources that can be applied across disciplines to enhance the understanding of adolescent mental health issues.
