Alcohol and other drugs can be a major problem for teens. Your child may feel pressure at some point to experiment. The following teenage alcohol and drug abuse resources provide information on the effects of substance abuse and places to go for help. Consult your doctor with specific questions.

Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board of Cuyahoga County
Provides alcohol and other drug resources for children, teens and adults. They also offer a 24-hour crisis, information, and referral hotline for teens and adults.

NIDA for Teens: The Science Behind Drug Abuse
